Couples Therapy: Reconnection, Repair, and Growth
Relationships are living things - they need care, attention, and moments of honest growth.
When communication has broken down, emotional distance has grown, or trust has been shaken by infidelity or betrayal, it can feel like the foundation of the relationship is slipping away. In this space, you’ll be supported in rebuilding both connection and growth—the roots and the branches of a thriving partnership.
Couples therapy is not only a place to repair what's been hurt, but also a place to create a relationship that continues to evolve, strengthen, and deepen over time.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is most effective when both partners are willing to show up with openness, honesty, and a desire to grow.
You may be ready if you’re both invested in the relationship, committed to consistent attendance, and willing to reflect on how your patterns shape the connection between you.
Curiosity, accountability, and shared purpose create the strongest foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
Individual Therapy
A collaborative space where you can explore your inner world with honesty, curiosity, and support. Individual therapy helps you understand the patterns, emotions, and experiences that shape how you show up in your relationships and in your life.
It’s most effective when you’re ready to slow down, reflect, and do the deeper personal work that leads to meaningful change—whether you’re healing from past hurts, navigating relationship challenges, or wanting to strengthen your sense of self and emotional resilience.
Discernment Counseling
A short-term, structured process designed to help couples gain clarity and confidence about the decision of the future of their relationship.
This differs from traditional couples therapy in that the goal of Discernment Counseling is to gain clarity and confidence in a decision about the relationship with a deeper understanding of each partner’s role in the state of the relationship.

Meet Kara Willis, LCMFT
I’m a marriage and family therapist who helps couples who love each other but feel like something has shifted—maybe communication has gotten harder, the same arguments keep looping, or the connection just doesn’t feel like it used to. I believe relationships are where we do some of our most meaningful (and sometimes messiest) work, and my role is to help you slow down, understand what’s really happening underneath the surface, and find your way back to each other with honesty, curiosity, and a little humor when you need it.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and grounding. I bring structure when things feel chaotic and compassion when you’re feeling stuck, so you can rebuild patterns of communication that help you both feel seen, heard, and valued again.
If you’re wanting your relationship to feel like “us” again, I’d love to help you get there.
